So they are calling for him to resign because he gave accurate advice for people traveling to an extremely Muslim country? If they are mad, they should be mad at Qatar. Qatar made the law. But of course liberal gay rights activists can't be made at "the religion of peace."

1997 All Over Again?
Republican leaders have been quick to say they will try to avoid the mistakes of 1994/1995. Maybe that is because they think it is 1997. Eric Cantor is throwing a "Festivus" fundraiser this month that would have been avant guarde back then:

What We Need.

Quasi-Conspiracy Theory Of The Day.
The word bureaucracy is tough to spell. It is French in origin and runs against the grain of English spelling patterns. However, most automatic spell checkers do not offer “bureaucracy” as an alternative to miss-spelled versions of the word.
For instance, in Microsoft Word, “bureacracy” did return bureaucracy as a suggested fix, but “burocracy” and “beauracracy” did not.
In a pinch, or in a hurry, many users of programs like Microsoft Word or WordPress or Blogger.Com may just skip using the word when they realize they have miss-spelled it but can not get a good suggestion to fix it. (Obviously this is indicative of an ever increasing culture of lazy, but that is a different discussion for a different day.)
